Earthen Spirituality Project's Wilderness Quests

Week long programs for individuals or small groups, personalized to meet the needs of the participants. In a typical week the first two days may include walks and assignments designed to acclimatize the quester and help them clarify their fears, dreams, and expectations/hopes for the effort. This is usually followed by re-earthing time in the nontraditional sweat lodge, and may include a highly focused solo period of from one to four days in vibrantly inspirited places that afford their own unaided instruction and inspiration. Afterwards we like to work closely together to understand and assimilate each experience and revelation, transforming insights into effective tools for the future, for relating to and positively affecting the larger connected world. http://www.earthenspirituality.org

Mother Rest Sacred Grove Nature Preserve & Eco-Cemetery

The Eco-Cemetery at Mother Rest Sacred Grove accepts the Cremains of the Pagan Beloved Dead, for internment or scattering, with a Memorial Tree of choice planted in a 10' x 10' Memorial area. The facilities include an outdoor 40' across Worship Circle with central Bonfire area, surrounded by mature trees appropriate to the directions. Folks are responsible for securing their own Memorial stones that are preferably horizontal in form & natural looking. Also available is the Annual Scott Cunningham Memorial Award, which is given to an HIV + Pagan gratis, contact us for details. Blessed Be. Contact Petherwyn at mrsgrove@premier1.net

Electric Cars

Don't forget to consider environmentally safe cars, the next time you go car shopping. Honda is offering a hybrid car that gets as much as 68 miles to the gallon (the Insight at 61/68 mpg). A hybrid car has an electric engine that uses gas to recharge the battery while the car is running. Honda offers a two-seater called the Insight. It is a sporty car that is fun to drive. Honda is releasing a four-seater hybrid in 2003, the Civic Hybrid, which is advertised as 46/51 mpg. Toyota offers a four-seater hybrid called the Prius (52/45 mpg). The Prius has a Super Ultra Low Emissions rating, entirely different engineering, lots of bells and whistles, and the dashboard will intrigue you. GM, Ford and Daimler-Chrysler are also developing hybrid or 100 percent electric vehicles, which should be coming out sometime in the future. www.hondacars.com www.toyota.com/html/shop/vehicles/prius/index.html

Race for the Rainforest

Cheri wrote us to say:
"My current favorite is Race for the Rainforest. Every time anyone clicks on, .0003 acres are saved. Plus it's a pyramid thing: invite your friends and each friend's .0003 is added to yours." rainforest.care2.com
