Having lived life to its fullest, Nina Alaina (Lylith) Hawk has passed on to the realms beyond. Her joy and laughter continue to ring throughout the mountains around Asheville, North Carolina. For the past year she had worked tirelessly to bring together a close-knit spiritual community that will sorely miss her vibrant presence and giving soul. She was a Board member of the Coalition of Earth Religions for Education and Support (CERES), and her greatest effort went towards charitable fund raising, outreach work, and the good of the community.
The service will take place Friday, May 19, 7pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Black Mountain. The address is 500 Montreat. The service taking place is a non-denominational celebration of her life and a time for her family to mourn their loss. There will be a Pagan event at a later date per Lylith's wishes.
