| Creating Crystal Elixirs

Crystal Elixirs are a form of crystal healing, a complimentary healing practice utilizing the healing vibrations of different crystals, stones, and resins. Crystal Elixirs are one of the simplest forms of crystal healing to learn. All that is required is to make a bottle of elixir and place a few drops in a glass of water. No need to learn the different energy meridians and points to place crystals on. Anybody can learn the simple method described in this book and utilize the techniques immediately creating healing elixirs for yourself, friends, and family.
There are many different techniques to create crystal elixirs, and none of them are wrong. The main thing you need to know about crystal elixirs is to always trust your intuition. If something doesn't seem right, then don't do it. Also, all crystal healing modalities are considered complimentary healing practices, and as such should never be used to replace modern medical practices. Always seek the help of a qualified medical professional if you are sick or injured.
There are as many different ways to create crystal elixirs as there are people using them. In this book I will teach 2 methods of creation. The first is a more tradition method of creation. While the second is a more modern creation and in my opinion more practical.
When making a crystal elixir essentially what you are trying to do is adjust waters vibration to match that of a crystal or group of crystals so that by drinking a few drops of the water you can experience the healing benefits of that crystals vibration. I have also used crystal elixirs as an ingredient in lotions and soaps to enhance those products with a bit more magic.
The traditional method of creating crystal elixirs requires 3 things: A GLASS jar with a LID Crystals De-chlorinated water
This method can be either very simple or highly complex depending on how you wish to layer it. Some people use just the crystals in the elixir, others create their elixirs with certain times, moon phases, planetary alignments, herbal energies, and many other different energetic layers corresponding with what sort of effect they wish the elixir to have. I personally do not find all this necessary. I believe that simply the crystal energies combined with the users intention should be plenty to have effect. To make the elixir fill the glass jar to the top with spring water or mineral water depending on your personal tastes. Then place your (clean and washed) crystals into the water. Put on the lid and let it sit in a dark place for 3-7 days. After this time you may remove the crystal from the elixir and keep the elixir in a dark airtight container for 1-3 months. If you wish to increase the shelf life of your elixirs a drop or two of vinegar should help.
If you wish you may place the glass of elixir someplace that it will be able to sit in moonlight if you wish to infuse it with those energies as well. I do not recommend that you place the bottle in sunlight. The sunlight will warm the water giving opportunity for bacteria to grow and the light may cause algae to grow along the walls of the bottle.
After a few years of creating elixirs in this way I started to see some of the flaws, such as the inability to quickly make new elixirs if something came up (Who wants to sit with a cold for 3 days waiting for some elixir to brew?) . I set out to create a new way of making elixirs quickly and easily. After a few months of playing around with different ideas I finally settled on this next method of creation.
For this method of creating crystal elixirs you also need 3 things.
A GLASS jar with a LID A wand (or your Pointer Finger) De-chlorinated water
You may notice that in my method, there are no crystals. Some of you may find this odd but they really are not necessary. In this method, we are using out intention alone to adjust the waters vibration. This is a great way of making elixirs because you can use crystals that would normally be unavailable to you due to your geographic location and financial restraints. You can also infuse the elixir with other energies using the same method. So it then becomes very safe to add herbal energetic vibrations to the elixir without working with (and possibly wrongly identifying) actual herbs.
To make elixirs with this method fill your glass jar fully with either spring water or mineral water depending on your personal tastes. Then hold your wand over the water and visualize a little energetic ball at the end. Into this ball visualize the names of each crystal or herbal energy you wish to use in the elixir. Then visualize the ball dropping off the end of the wand and completely filling and transforming the water.
Place the lid on the Jar and you are done. As you can see, this is a much more versatile method than the traditional way. Not only can you create elixirs instantaneously, but you can also use just about anything you like.
Some things I like to add to my elixirs are the energies of trees, animals, angels, deities, mythological creatures (and parts thereof. Anyone for some unicorn horn elixir?) , prayers, mantras (OM water) , planets, and stars. This list could go on forever but this should give you a good starting point in the creation of your elixirs.
Below are a few recipes for some elixirs that should get you started.
Calming Elixir: Citrine Fluorite Garnet Gold White Sage Valerian Root
Clearing Elixir: Amber Calcite Myrrh Resin White Sage
Psychic Powers: Amethyst Howlite Mugwort Wormwood Raven
7 Chakra Elixir: Black Tourmaline Ruby Malachite Lepidolite Chrysocolla Amethyst Diamond
