My beloved Golden Retriever and companion, Tadgh "Tady" entered the Summerlands on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 after a sudden illness of a week.
He was born January 17, 2008 near Buffalo, NY as "Trigger" and i adopted him on February 28, 2014 and we changed his name to Tadgh after my Irish 2nd great grandfather.
He was the sweetest, gentle soul I've shared my life with! He loved everyone he met and everyone he met quickly loved him!
He wanted nothing more than to be with me whether driving to shop, going to the dog park or the park near us with a pond which he immediately dove into or traveling to our camp on Lake Ontario where he would fetch sticks or his favorite "squirrel" into the surf for hours.
He loved riding in the car or just walking with me. He never needed a leash (where it was allowed and always stayed with me.
He would make his needs known by putting his paw on my knee (which always meant "Yes") when questioned. He enjoyed his life, his yard, his friends and just relaxing at home.
He has left to mourn his loss: his many friends (human and dog) , neighbors, family and especially his beloved "cousin" Leeloo and will be greatly missed by all he loved and who loved him.
He's already visited a few times since his crossing and i'm sure he'll continue until he's sure I'm OK!
He crossed on January 23rd at 3:12 PM in my arms with the help of his doctor.
REST PEACEFULLY in the arms of the Goddess, my sweet sweet guy, surrounded by your dog friends and my other friends until we meet again! Bless-ed Be!
