On Sunday, November 23, Gaia's Gate flung open to welcome the fabulous Robin Renée for a very special performance.
Celebrated Singer/songwriter Robin Renée graced the stage with a wonderful heartfelt performance. Her soulful style and warm charm captivated the audience as she sang and chanted original tunes from her latest CD, All Six Senses. Robin rounded out her performance by adding songs from her first CD In Progress and she treated the audience to a preview, performing a couple of her lovely, not yet released, songs.
Complemented by her acoustic guitar playing, Robin's melodic voice held the crowd spellbound. Her presentation was further enhanced by the participation of a very moved audience, who chimed in, voices ringing, as the rocker sang 'Chant' from her current CD. Robin's sweet voice and soulful melodies, so enchanted the audience, that some attendees spontaneously joined in drumming and dancing.
Robin's inspired performance heralded the kick-off of Gaia's Gate's new series of coffee house events. A new age shop featuring magickal gifts, herbs, gemstone jewelry and celtic robes, Gaia's Gate, has recently added tarot readings and metaphysical classes as well as coffee house events to it's list of offerings, as part of a new expansion plan. The coffee house program promises to be a fabulous success with a line-up including poetry readings and open mike nites, in addition to rock and folk performances.
