Sovereignity of Spirit

Religion is the flavor we cook our food with and Faith is the act of swallowing what we have concocted.
We are often left with that unsatisfied hunger for the bigger picture beyond the dichotomy of life. Our search of self has been a transition from one skin to another where we try to fit all that we like inside and excluding all we do not like. For some reason or another, we change skin as often as we change our minds. Authors like Freud and C. G. Jung has referenced the conscious (or unconscious) mind in the colors of their own understanding while, modern thinkers like Ken Wilber has redefined it to map a new scale which he terms as 'transpersonal.' Furthering his stand, Wilber, also talks about 'boundaries' as contrasted to a philosophy he calls 'no boundaries.' It seems to stand in our present environment that we are trapped on our perceptions of political and social sovereignty while being forced to accept anew indicator of Spirit.
To say that present society is awakening to Spirit or responding to an Act of Faith is to defeat the purpose of us ever existing. Put simply we are in Spirit, with Spirit and is Spirit; in no way can we really search or awaken into that which we already are. To have Faith is simply acting the best possible way we know how, responding in the instance of Faith we possess and to move closer to a reacceptance of Self.
For us to accept ourselves is like the acceptance of having eyes. There is no direct way of seeing our eyes without the aid of mirrors yet, the very part in question, our eyes, are the very implement we use to verify its existence.
The sovereignty of Spirit and definition of Faith is the not the drawing of concrete, rational understanding but rather dissolving barriers which are illusory in the first place. To have Faith is to have a Self that is dynamically moving beyond conceived illusion, beyond separateness and beyond exclusivity. Separate realities will continue to exist when we continue allowing our conscious and unconscious minds to play their dual and supposed significance in our lives.
Defining a sovereign state designates supposed power and rights for that nation, yet, in the Spirit's domain we often find ourselves lost in a formless unification. This formlessness have been termed as 'the cloud of unknowing, ' 'the void, ' and many other ambiguous terms simply because the domain of Faith is precisely that -- ambiguous. Though ambiguous, Faith is precise and eminent, often times a matter of spiritual discourse, theological reference and most certainly a field of study. It is in this very horizon of precise ambiguity that we make choices and in fervor search for a bigger picture that is contained within the self.
Our search for Faith is a reaffirmation of Self; as such we can say that Faith is the cardboard with a pinhole directed to the heavens. To search for Faith is neither to force you through the pinhole nor to squeeze all the stars through but an acceptance of a heaven that may be glimpsed. A change of perception and emptiness is necessary for a bigger view 'within' the tiniest of pinholes. When struggle accedes to peace then we see Faith work into our lives. The point of 'no-return' is simply the point when we cease the struggle for stopping all struggles.
In the end the mere perception of Faith through our pinholed - cardboard becomes an act of inhaling and exhaling, a form of breathing into existence creation, the act of creating and being recreated. The beginning of Faith is the sovereign state of Spirit where the person without losing individuality is part of everything and the only boundary is a question of how open we are to the experience of having new eyes.
