Clergy Profile: I'm one of the Celebrants for the Scottish Pagan Federation and as such, approved by the General Registrar's Office in Scotland to conduct legal Pagan religious marriages under Scots law. As it is the Celebrants who have the approval to marry couples, weddings can be conducted anywhere within Scotland. Popular locations are ancient sites, ancestral lands and wild areas.
Ceremonies are written specifically for each couple. I follow a Celtic path, but the ceremonies are tailored to the beliefs of the couple; it is your day, not mine.
I also conduct baby-namings, coming of age ceremonies and funerals - as do all SPF celebrants. For further details of the SPF's Celebrancy Service, please contact the Co-ordinator via the SPF website (details below) .
Rates: This will vary according to the amount of work involved in writing a wedding ceremony, but usually a small fee for this work, plus expenses. No charges for namings or funerals.
