I'm extensively trained and experienced in shamanic healing work, and in teaching the practices of shamanism, especially as a complement to paganism and the Craft. My shamanic studies began in 1988, and are now interwoven with my goddess-lore and Craft paths, which have been constant and deepening since 1978 and 1981 respectively. For me, these tradition-threads braid together.
Shamanic healing approaches from a place of heart and spirit, which can make it effective in ways that other modalities may not be, both physically and metaphysically. Soul retrieval, shamanic extraction of misplaced energies and power animal retrieval are a few of the possibilities.
These are healing methods I first began learning in 1991, studying extensively with Sandra Ingerman, author of "Soul Retrieval" and with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. I've been actively using these traditional methods since then, and am also listed on Ingerman's own international referral list.
Shamanic classes range from Beginner to Advanced, from 2-hour sessions to 4-day workshops, to a year-long study that meets monthly. I've been well trained in the teaching of shamanic practices and the teaching of shamanic healing, as well as learning from my own personal experiences in shamanism.
I also teach classes on Tarot, Candle Magic, Stones and Crystals, and other Craft practices, and officiate at a variety of circles, including weddings and handfastings, and departures/funerals. I hold ministry credentials through the Universal Life Church, though that's not a requirement for performing weddings in this state.
