Clergy Profile: Merry Meet!
Allow me to introduce myself. My Computer Name is Lord Krieg, but my one of my Craft names is Lord Aldwyn. I have been an initiated priest of Wicca since 1986. Originally I studied, trained and was initiated into a Celtic Coven. I assisted in several Witans (a gathering of local groups to share and celebrate together) . However in 1988 my mentor split off from this coven and I followed him to help establish one of the first training covens in Richmond, VA. We taught a more generic style of Wicca to allow those new to the craft to find the path in Wicca that calls to them. We trained about 20 people over a two year period, before he decided that it was too much work for him and we shut down the coven.
I started practicing solitary or with friends from 1990 until the official founding of “The Clan of the Grey Wolf”, which was designed to be a training coven. I had seen a lot of people trying to help for their personal reasons, and causing more problems than they solved. We started the Wolf Clan to give people a place where they could come, learn, study, celebrate and practice Wicca in a safe environment. We ran the coven from 1994 until I moved to Wisconsin in 1999.
When I moved, I once again became solitary. I became officially ordained in the ULC in 2002, and to date have not preformed any wedding ceremonies. I have however founded The Grove of the Goddess, an online and local training coven. I did this in the spirit of bringing like minded people together to celebrate the cycles of the earth and to join a fellowship of Wiccans. I am currently accepting members through the groups Yahoo Group, and through e-mail. If you are interested in joining please feel free to contact me.
