Clergy Profile: My name is Johnny Price.

I want to start a Wiccan/Pagan study group, with a possibility of later forming a coven.
I received a first degree from Linda Batwinski,
high priestess of the "Pagans of the Woods" coven
in Whighting, IN almost eight years ago.
This makes me a qualified teacher and priest of this tradition, which is eclectic, but has a Gardnarian outer circle. Our coven also has a Gardnarian lineage, by way of the "Temple of the Pagan Way", from Chicago.
I have never taken on any serious students,
because I either doubted their ethics, or thought they lacked the dedication needed.
I should reciving my second degree soon, making me a high priest of this tradition, and entitling me to form my own coven.
Before this happens I would like to "cut my teeth" as a teacher. Members of the study group will be considered for membership in the coven, when it is formed.
Please understand, while I will provide training for the members, a coven doesn't just belong to the high priest or priestest, but to the collective. This is what make the term "In perfect love, and perfect trust" so important. Members must be completely comfortable with each other, and the membership will vote on whether or not to admit new dedicants.
While I will be focusing on the tradition as I was taught, this group will be somewhat eclectic, meaning you will be able to, and even encouraged, to pursue individual interests.
I would like to find people interested in incorporating their coven as a religious organization, obtaining tax exeption status, and becoming leagally ordained ministers, but this all takes time and dedication.
