Clergy Profile: May the Goddess be borne in every heart today!
Registered to solemnize legal Handfastings and other marriages in Massachusetts and New York State, as the High Priest of the Temple of Risinisis, and recognized by my coven and community to perform the other Rites of Passage, I established my practice first in 1986, as a young person, under the magical teachings of my family elders. Soon after I began to study Wicca in earnest. To date I have officiated, with great love and care, at Wiccanings, Coming of Age rites, Handfastings, Handpartings, House and Land Blessings, Banishings, Craft Initiations, Funerals and Seances.
Between the years of 1990 and 1992, I served as a Western Massachusetts youth minister in the Springfield Catholic Diocese. In 1993, I completed a crystal healing apprenticeship in Pittsfield and soon after was elevated to the 3* in the Alexandrian Tradition of Wicca, deep in the heart of the Berkshires, after many years of study. In 1995 I was initiated, in Amherst, into the worship of White Tara of the Tibetan Buddhist Tradition, and in 1996, I was invited into the Chalice Well Coven (formerly of Lee, MA.) - where I stayed for several fabulous years serving the Gods under the High Priestess Aurora Raven.
After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Pre-Christian Religious Thought from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and receiving minister's credentials from the Universal Life Church, I was gifted with the Master degree Usui Reiki, and Johrei Reiki attunements, in Northampton and South Hadley respectively, and so was able to further incorporate a Universal Sense of Healing and enhanced Energy Projection into my professional practice, and my lifestyle. I have also developed an extensive background in translating ancient languages such as ancient Hebrew, ancient Greek, classical Latin, classical Sanskrit and classical Egyptian, which has allowed me greater facility to study many of the 'original magical classics' in their native forms.
In Pittsfield, in 2002, I founded the EarthGate Coven and Temple of Risinisis with my beloved Consort, and was able to conceive the roots of a new tradition of Wicca from remnants of family practice, and my individual masters' teachings. In that year I also received my Minister's Credentials from The EarthGate Temple of Risinisis.
Several years later I completed an Advanced Massage and Bodywork certification at the Kripalu Center in Lenox, later becoming a licensed massage therapist in Massachusetts, and then in 2006, I finally completed a ten-year professional Astrology Apprenticeship in Chicopee.
Today, as a board-certified chiropractic physician in Massachusetts, and with twenty-five years of magical practice, I am available to help you both manage your health and consecrate the complete array of the Pagan Rites of Passage for straight, gay and transgender people. Likewise, our Temple offers a ministerial cohort in which successful candidates will receive Ordainment, Minister's Credentials, and legal registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as Pagan/Wiccan ministers.
I see my role in our community as one of perpetuating healing, eu-information, love, beauty, environmental remediation and stellar transmutation; A father and son to some, a brother to others; I am a channel of the Gods, and so thankful for such.
