Clergy Profile: I have officiated three weddings, and one handfasting. I've been ordained since February 5, 2006. I will do weddings for couples of any faith, but the ones outside my faith I will only use non-religious ceremonies. But the non-religious ceremonies I have are just as beautifully worded as one that has religious scripture or wording.
I will also perform same-sex civil ceremonies, weddings and handfastings, but it can only be made legal in states that allow same-sex marriage. The one handfasting I've done, was actually for a same-sex couple.
I only require two counseling sessions with the couple:
The first one is to meet and get to know the couple, and find out the wedding arrangements (what time it starts, where it will be, etc.) and what they expect of me.
The second one is to make sure the couple understands the seriousness of marriage, and to make sure they are serious and ready to make this type of commitment.
The time-line of when the counseling sessions take place, depends on:
1- How far away the wedding is (distance) ,
2- The date of the wedding
3- The couple's work/personal schedule
Rates: The only thing I charge for is traveling expenses (gas, hotel stay-if necessary, food-if necessary) . However, I do accept monetary love offerings (donations) of whatever the couple feels my service is worth to them.
