Pagan Clergy

Clergy Profile: I am a legally registered minister in the Universal Life Church and I am able to perform any of the following services: peaceful rites and ceremonies of the church, including weddings, funerals, baptisms, blessings, and am able to preach, teach and hold meetings.
Therefore I am afforded all privileges and courtesies normally offered to members of the clergy.
I also offer services in handfastings, divinations, guided meditations, prayer requests, and other more esoteric pagan services.
I do not offer spellwork or spellcraft services.
I call myself a "solitary eclectic neopagan." (It's a popular term.) Generally it means someone who selects from various beliefs, doctrines, methods or styles of faith and the expression of that faith using what she feels is best. It also names a whole belief, constructed from pieces obtained from various sources.
I claim solitary, because even though I often work with others, and share my faith with others, in the end I go my own way on the path, alone.
Steve Storm wrote the first Eclectic Rede "Steal what works, fix what's broke, fake the rest." He was apt, but I would edit that Rede. (Big surprise I am an eclectic after all.)
"Use what works for you. Change what doesn't. Make the rest yourself."
Because what works for me won't necessarily work for another no two eclectics are exactly alike. However because we are pagans we do have a few things in common.
We believe in a higher power or powers other than, or in addition to the "God of Abraham" (though we may not in fact all honor them at all, or believe in ALL of them.) We believe in magic/will work aka influencing reality (we don't all practice that.) We acknowledge and often celebrate the major Sabbats that mark the Wheel of the Year.
I am a Priestess of Night and I am also a witch/magic user.
I offer my services here not to seek employment, but as an aid to others.
