I'm Lady Passion, High Priestess of the 501 (c) (3) non-profit Coven Oldenwilde in Asheville, NC. and co-author of The Goodly Spellbook: Olde Spells for Modern Problems.
I've been a public Witch since 1976. I'm a Third Degree Gardnerian whose Lineage originates in 1071. Of Sicilian ancestry, I also teach experiential Italian Strega magic to serious magical students in a traditional Inner Court, in-person setting (on alt. Fridays at my Covenstead in Asheville, NC) .
I'm legal Pagan clergy who conducts rites of passage, workshops, and helps secure magical, medical, and legal rights for Wiccans worldwide.
I advocate for the beauty, antiquity, and validity of magic in daily life and have conducted a hugely popular annual free public Samhain Sabbat attended by thousands nationwide each Halloween since 1995.
I'm a successful spiritual activist (for examples, I got an anti-divination law repealed in 2004 (NC Gen. Statute 14-401.5) -- freeing Witches across the state to foretell future events; I set legal president in NC by changing the hire-and-fire-at-will law — preventing nurses from being arbitrariily fired when they advocate for patients (search for case online, searchwords: Deerman vs. Beverly Corporation) ; I forced VA prisons to allow Pagan inmates Tarot cards; I helped a Missouri inmate coven win its religious rights via the Supreme Court) ; saved a hundred year-old magnolia tree from a developer's ax by living beneath it for 2 + months...
I'm a spokes-Witch regularly interviewed in print (Washington Post) , radio (BBC, NPR, Paranormal Paradigm Radio) , and TV (CNN, etc.) . My appearance is highly sought after by TV studios (Universal, Sci-Fi) , production companies (A. Smith & Co., L.A., Trafford Media, England) , and series (Extra! and Finding America) .
