Faye Dancing Cloud
Located in: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Clergy Profile: Faye Dancing-Cloud is a lifelong Light Worker and Witch and has ten years of experience in ritual magick. She has been coordinating public ritual since Beltane of 2009. Her ordination with the Universal Life Church as of December 2010 permits her to legally perform marriages in New Mexico.
For her first seven years of practice she followed a solitary path, initiating herself into the mysteries according to the teachings of Scott Cunningham at Samhain of 2000. In 2006, she attended a Mystery School in San Diego hosted by the organization Western Mysticism and taught by Kundalini, an ordained Zen Buddhist monk. She lived in Berkeley, CA, from 2007-2008, where she studied in the Wildflower Tradition of Come As You Are Coven (2008) .
Faye's priestess work is founded in healing, growth, compassion, and love, especially in helping women and men to claim power-from-within to co-create their Highest and Best potential in the here and now. Her beliefs are eclectic in nature and influenced by her upbringing in Christianity as well as teachings of Buddhism, Feminist Wicca, Ceremonial Magick, Hereditary Kitchen-Witchery, and Indo-European and Native American shamanism that she has encountered on her path. Faye is dedicated to the Mother Goddess Danu as an expression of the Divine Feminine, and Cernunnos as an expression of the Divine Masculine, in her public clergy work, but has dedicated to other deities for other areas of her work. She has worked with deities, nature spirits, ancestors, and archangels since her childhood.
Faye holds a Bachelor's degree from Utah State University in Liberal Arts and Sciences. Her personal experience as a professional Tarot reader and personal study has given her a natural ability to counsel people in Love and Light.
To Faye, ritual is a celebration to honor the magick that is alive in every moment, and thereby create something new, holy, unique and meaningful. She offers custom rituals for life events such as:
-Baby Blessing
-Handfasting/ Handparting
-House Blessing
-Hex breaking (case-by-case basis)
-Intuitive Healing Consultations (herbs and crystals)
-Rites of Passage (coming of age, funerals, etc)
Other custom rituals may be available, on request.
Faye offers GBLTQ-etc. friendly services. Couples requesting a handfasting or handparting ceremony will receive a Tarot reading and undergo at least one couples' counselling session as part of Faye's ritual planning services.
Rates: My rates are all donation-based. I invite you to give what you feel my services are worth to you and what you can reasonably afford. I place a lot of care into assuring that everything works to the highest and best of all involved.
