Clergy Profile: Courtney Weber is a Priestess, writer, Tarot Advisor, Astrologer, performer and activist originally from Portland, OR. She received her ordination under Reverend Cynthia DeFay of the Cluan-Feart School of Men's and Women's Mysteries. She is the co-leader of the Novices of the Old Ways, an inter-faith Pagan group in New York City. Courtney is an official reverend in the Universal Life Church. Since beginning the study of Tarot at the age of 15, Courtney has gained a national clientel base and is a highly popular Tarot consultant at corporate, community and underground arts events in the Northeast Region. Courtney has been an active force on the Committee to Save St. Brigid's Church, which recently saved an historic cathedral from demolition. She has now turned her activist efforts to marriage equality in New York, performing Handfasting ceremonies for gay and lesbian couples at public rallies.
