Clergy Profile: I've been practicing eclectic Wicca for about 30 years, and teaching Wicca for about 24 years. I am also an author, whose first book, DEDICANT: A Witch's Circle of Fire; A Course of Study in the Old Religion came out in the fall of 2008. Both DEDICANT: A Witch's Circle of Fire, and INITIATE: A Witch's Circle of Water, follow the teaching system and school (Circles) which I have founded. I am currently writing ADEPT: A Witch's Circle of Earth.
I have acted as priestess for many Wiccan/Pagan Rites Of Passage (ROPs) , such as handfastings, weddings, house blessings and blastings, Dark Workings (rites designed to help one come to terms with issues they're otherwise stuck in or having trouble healing) , and large public Esbats, Sabbats, and special rituals - such as theme rites for festivals. I am undaunted by difficult or challenging work, and can creatively find a solution to just about any magical problem.
I do intuitive readings, using the runes as tools, and I have developed a myriad of spreads over the years, covering topics from love and prosperity to health and spiritual pathwork to more "big picture" types of spreads, spanning one moon cycle to a lifetime.
I also do a unique type of intuitive reading, where I enter a light trance state with the client and paint a picture on illustration board of the images coming from the client's consciousness. I call these readings "Soul Portraits."
For an even deeper imprint, the client and I both again enter a light trance, but for a much longer period of time, so the levels reached are much more revealing, requiring a deeper level of opening up by the client as well as myself, while I construct a cast of the client's face. In this process, the images start coming as the mask is being finished, and I draw a sketch of how it is to look. For these "Soul Masks, " there is a period of time (4-6 weeks, depending on my backlog) before the client recieves the finished mask and interpretation.
With both the Soul Portraits and the Soul Masks, the result is a piece that can be used for meditation, self-discovery and exploration. The masks can be hung on the wall or over one's altar to remind one of one's higher purpose or spiritual truths, and in the case of the masks, possibly aspecting and/or invoking of one's higher self and deities.
