Clergy Profile: This is now my seventh year serving as clergy within the community. And my upcoming 16th year serving as a practitioner and child of my Lord and Lady.
I work within the Gardnerian path , and received my private ordination to third degree within the tradition six years ago now. However if you know anything personally about the Gardnerian tradition you realize that since I am no longer running a coven and have stepped outside it. I can no longer be considered a High Priestess or Gardnerian until I rejoin a coven. This is also due to the fact that I run a group and work with women in ritual , not the prefered number, nor the male female partnership that the tradition covets. So again I can no longer be considered true Gardnerian.
But the truth is that despite what many lineage lines will bicker over I do not care anymore. If you read my personal profile it will describe to you how I feel about this. While I love the traditions I was raised with many ideals, practices and secrecies that Gardner introduced still seem so elitist and holier than though. Or maybe it was the followers of Gardner that turned his tradition into this. I am not sure. But the bottom line is that I am a child of the Goddess and God. No proof of lineage or dogma can take this away from me. I spent many years working very hard to earn the title. But a title is only a title after all. So if you prefer someone who still has their lineage papers and a coven of 12, I'm not your gal. I burned my documentations that your forced to carry around. If you need help or have any questions please feel free to contact me. After all aren't we all entitled to worship the lady in the moon the way we discovered her and not someone else's way ?
Rates: Rates are discussed on an individual basis. I do still teach however I only accept a few students each year. Right now for 2007-2008 I have one spot left open. No more no less. I do not charge anything for lessons. The student must pay for material.
