Clergy Profile: Rev. Victor Murphey’s Bio
Born in 1967, I was raised into a Methodist family and attended several Methodist Day Schools then later attending Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon TN. (1980-85) ; however, in 2002, I was introduced to Wicca. I completed a 13-week Wiccan course taught by Rev. Shari Hill in 2003. In January of 2004, I joined the Silver Web Coven. I received my First Degree initiation into the Dorey Tradition in February of 2005. In December of 2006, I co-founded the Clan of the FieryOak with my wife, Shae Murphey and Ryan and Michelle “Flame” Murphy.
On January 21, 2007, I started my studies with Southern Delta Church of Wicca - ATC. Rev. Terry Riley, High Priest of Southern Delta Church of Wicca - ATC, mainly taught these studies. I received my First Degree initiation with Southern Delta Church of Wicca – ATC on December 1, 2007. In January 2008, I completed Level I Reiki Practitioner in the Usui Shiki Ryhoh Tradition. Rev. Amanda Riley of Southern Delta Church of Wicca - ATC, taught this. On March 2, 2008, I started my Second Degree training through Southern Delta Church of Wicca – ATC.
On May 8, 2010, I received my Fathering Rite. I received my ordination through the Temple of the Sacred Gift – ATC on September 4, 2010. On January 8, 2011, I started a 16-hour Advanced Clergy class that was taught by Rev. Terry Riley with Southern Delta Church of Wicca – ATC. On Jan 9, 2011, I completed both the Advance Clergy classes and my Second Degree training with Southern Delta Church of Wicca – ATC.April 4, 2011 I received my 2nd Deg. in the Dorey Tra. All the while, I have kept up my personal path of Gnostism. Ordained 2nd Deg. thru the Dorey Tra. Apr, 4 2011. Currently I am serving as High Priest at The Temple of the Ancient Ones in Jackson Tn. On Dec. 31, 2011, I received my Reiki II Attunement by Reiki Master David Fesmire.
