Clergy Profile: Washington State does not license persons to perform weddings. In this sense, the word, 'license', is not an official governmental function of issuing a license or permission to perform weddings, but more a function of recognition by the religious affiliation. If the minister or priest is recognized as ordained or granted the power by the religious organization to officiate wedding ceremonies, that person is 'licensed' to do so in Washington State. http://www.kingcounty.gov/courts/marriage/GettingMarried.aspx
I am recognized as clergy by the Covenant of the Blue Moon Church, therefore, I am considered "licensed" in the State of Washington to perform legal marriage ceremonies.
Rates: The wedding party is requested to pay all county fees (marriage license application fees, filing fees, etc) plus a donation to the Covenant of the Blue Moon Church. The amount of the donation is to be agreed upon and paid in advance.
