Clergy Profile: I am a polytheist priest in service to the traditional deities of Ireland. In particular I follow the heroic god, Lugh.
For 16 years I have pursued the art of the ancient draoíthe. The focus of my practice has always been well researched, historically authentic teachings brought to life through real spiritual community.
I was ordained as a priest by the Old Belief Society in 2002 and founded Temple of the River, the first Celtic polytheist group with a full temple in Minneapolis, in 2005.
In 2011 I resigned from my role as a temple priest. I am now traveling across the world with one goal: to meet the gods. I'm walking and biking from the source of the Mississippi River in Minnesota to the mouth of the Amazon River in Brazil. Along the way I plan to meet with every priest, shaman, and sincere practitioner I can find, and try to understand what exactly these gods inside of us truly are.
Because of my travels I am no longer able to offer weddings and funerals in the Twin Cities area. However, I am happy to give formal teachings or lead offering ceremonies anywhere along my route - or just meet up for tea and chat.
