 Website Profile: Green_Magik is a Livejournal community created to share information on the pagan community. It was started by 2 best friends, based in Anchorage, Alaska, but is open to everyone. We are both pagans, each with a different style of faith. It was hard to meet people who share our beliefs so we created a place to share knowledge and ideas. Sometimes its difficult to make it out to once a month meetings, or sometimes people are unsure meeting other new people....but we still wanted to feel connected to other pagans in the community. So green_magik was born! It is a way to reach out to others in our neighborhood. With it being online (at the moment) , it can be accessed at any time.
Right now the community is in its fledgling stage.....but we hope to see it grow into a great local meeting place. Eventually nature walks can be organized, Sabbat pot lucks can be planned, online chat sessions and/or craft days created through the group.
Our topics cover everything from nature and herbs to Tarot and Sabbats. Its a place for learning and sharing new ideas, as well as meeting new people. If you have any questions, check out the community or email one of us (the moderators) ! Come sit a spell and let us know what you think. =]
