Foundations In Paganism

 Website Profile: This was originally a long-time Boston-based practice group, but I am now located in Austin, Texas and am hoping to create a new working group. Foundations in Paganism is a web discussion and practice group focusing on exploration, practice, self development, personal growth, community building, and sharing ideas on pagan spirituality. The group welcomes newbies and adepts alike. Emphasis of the group is on pagan spirituality, discussion, sharing energy and meditation practices. Wiccan religion and theology are NOT the primary emphasis of this group. There are already many very good discussion groups dedicated specifically to Wicca. Topics on this list are diverse. Some examples of subjects include: sharing ideas for exercises in focus, meditation, energy fielding and manipulation; crystals and stone work; home, cooking, and spell craft; herbalism and wholistic medicine; pagan paths and traditions; pagan theory and philosophy; pagan parenting; ritual and prayer; pagan literature and art; dream and journal work; natural cycles, patterning, and systems; astrology; and divination. I also encourage people to post about local open events and groups. I ask only that everyone be open-minded, polite, and respectful of differences in opinion.
