Lore of the Wise Craft
Event Details: Lore of the Wise Craft has been redeveloped, with wonderfiul advice from friends and students helping to gear the course more towards solitary practice, with an emphasis on practical and energy work. The new structure uses Course and Workshop formatting, with each class offering you the chance to try out different approaches – discarding some and building on others – as you forge a path that feels right for you.
Each Course/Workshop has been developed to flow from one to the next, however, you are able to start with any one of the Courses or Workshops that you wish. But please note that each course builds on the one before it: for example, if you do not have a strong basis in feeling and moving energy, meditation or understand the wisdom behind the Elements, ritual, crystlas, chakra's, Sabbats and Moon phases (Course 1) , then you may find it difficult to jump straight into Spellwork (Course 2) , which expects that you know and can do all these things.
Lore of the Wise Craft is a series of Courses and Workshops that explore the wisdom, ritual, energy, meditation, spellworking and spiritual pathworking that are the witches craft, with Course 1 (13 weeks) specifically covering:
RITUAL: understand why and how modern rituals work, and learn to create and perform your own rituals, whether for Moon phases, Sabbats or other personal goals.
LORE: discover the rich symbolism behind the Moon and its phases; the mythos behind the Wheel of the Year; the Elements and their correspondences; and the wisdom behind ceremony and magick-making.
ENERGY WORK: learn to feel energy around and within you, directing it as needed, using breathwork, movement, Qi Gong, chanting and your own intuition.
MEDITATION: understand why meditation is an important aspect of modern witchcraft, and learn the visualisation style of meditation for use in energy raising.
Classes will be held at The Entrance, on the Central Coast of NSW.
