Centering, breath meditation, guided visualisation & other techniq
Event Details: Our main focus today is on understanding: of the way things work; of other people; of the past; of ourselves. Understanding increases the richness, and thus the enjoyment, of our lives. Understanding comes from being aware of experiences and being open to the insights that experiences trigger.
Sadly we are relying more and more on understanding gathered by others, and our two tools of awareness and insight are slowly withering as they are no longer needed. Reality TV is replacing Reality.
There are a number of meditation practices that help us rediscover and grow these fundamental human abilities. We invite you to join our fortnightly meditation group and reclaim your own understanding of the world.
