Talk: Ancient Festivals that Aid Spiritual Growth
Event Details: Working with the seasonal flow is important to our psychological well being, and this is easy to achieve when we have the right tools.
Our ancient ancestors knew this and practiced this through the various rites and observances they undertook throughout the year.
Based on her book, "Dancing the Sacred Wheel: A Journey through the Southern Sabbats", Frances will be taking participants on their own personal journey through the eight seasonal 'gateways'. During this journey, she will be discussing the traditional myths and folklore as well as how these can be adapted to the unique Australian climate.
Armed with this underlying knowledge, participants will then be shown how these lessons can be applied to our modern life, making us more connected not only with the land on which we reside, but also our own spiritual (ancestorial) self.
