Shamanic Drumming/Journeying Circle

Edmonton Shamanic Drumming Circle
Event Details: We have been meeting and drumming in the Buddist temple for four years. We welcome the inexperienced and the experienced alike. We focus primarily on studying shamanism, journey work and comparative folk traditions. We practice, study and experience global shamanism.
Each circle opens with a welcoming of the Six Directions, a rousing spirit song followed by trance work. Each time the circle meets we focus our attention on deepening our connection to our spirits as well as practicing shamanic trance work.
We meet September 19, 2008 through June 19, 2009. We will not have a circle on Friday January 2, 2009. We start off each new year with a Divination Night. This season our divination night will be January 16, 2009.
