AEGIS Hosts a Beltane Faire
When: May. 12th. 2012
Where: Halifax, Nova Scotia
The Wheel Turns, the Dance Continues
Event Details: AEGIS Pagan Festival is hosting a mini-festival for Beltane, on May 12th, 2012, at the Universal Unitarian Church. (5500 Inglis Street)
There will be workshops as well as vendors throughout the day, starting at 11am.
At 2pm, there will be a transformative Beltane Sabbat Ritual, hosted by Elevate, along with a Maypole Dance, followed by more workshops and shopping time, and a potluck feast!
There will be BBQ/Snacks available throughout the day, along with tea and coffee for a small cost to defray the price of renting the space. There will be a potluck feast following ritual at the end of the day.
Watch for the crowning of the May King and Queen!
Door Price: $5 per person

Justin Gaudet has been psychic since he was very young. It wasn't until his early teen years that he realized, not everyone saw the things he saw, or heard the things he heard. From that point on, he has been interested in the paranormal and spiritual worlds.
Justin believes everyone is psychic. That it's like a muscle, and overtime, with hard work, that psychic muscle will grow and strengthen. From an early age he has been able to communicate with Spirit Guides, Fairies, Angels and Elementals, and able to read people's energy and emotions.
Justin has been doing readings for friends and family for the last couple of years, but it is only recently, in the last year, that he has reached out to the public, and is very excited to share the gift of Spirit.

Greetings! I am very excited to be doing a short version of my “Writing a New Story: Releasing the Past and Finding Purpose” workshop at this year’s Beltane Fair!
In keeping with the theme of Beltane of fertility and prosperity, I am going to do a workshop on releasing your old story and creating a new life path. In this one hour presentation, we’ll discuss how our old story can hold us back from walking our true path. Through the metaphor of the cleansing fire, we’ll release those old stories. Then we’ll move onto giving “birth” to our new one through a short pathworking exercise. Developing a new healthy story opens us to creativity and prosperity as we walk in the path of our true purpose as our authentic self. Bring yourself, a pen/paper and a willingness to let go of the past! Light and love!"
3) Surya Chandra will be doing a workshop entitled:
"The Witches Voice"
Come journey into the realm of vibration. Explore the healing power of sound through chakra toning, the power of intention, and simple pagan chanting. This workshop is about celebrating life by harmonizing with the cosmic pulse of the Universe.
Maryse and Pierre have been sharing sacred chants for over 15 years using a variety of musical instruments. They have been part of world music ensemble SuryaChandra since 2007. For more info, visit www.yogictranceformation.net
4) Guthrie will be doing a talk on EVP:
Well for those who saw my workshop on Paranormal Investigation 101 during AEGIS last year, this will be a slightly expanded version of that, but without the magic show. Basically, I will be bringing in my laptop with clips of EVP, ghostly images and videos, and also an EMF detector, and explaining the flaws with each of these techniques for hunting ghosts and the paranormal. I will then be explaining a technique using random number generators, and revealing the results of such an experiment that I've been conducting. All in all, I hope it will be interesting for everyone involved.
5) Pandora Productions will be doing a movement meditation and ritual!
6) Bev will be doing a talk on The Fool's Journey (through the Tarot)
7) Christine will be doing a workshop on the Mudras.
