Event Details: Candle Magic 101 Workshop for Women
I am happy to begin offering a workshop on one of my very favorite topics...Candle Magic!!
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience - from the curious novice, to those who want to gain a new perspective on this ancient craft.
!! THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE LIMITED TO 5 WOMEN !! So get your registration in early!!
Utilizing knowledge gained from 12 years of study and initiation in the magical arts, and formal training in the folk magic tradition of conjure through the reknowned Lucky Mojo Hoodoo and Rootwork course, Devi will help guide you through the process of putting together a powerful ritual of candle magic to help manifest your personal goals!
** This course is hands-on, and participants will TAKE HOME a 4" altar candle, as well as a glass-encased vigil candle THAT THEY HAVE PREPARED for two separate magical goals (money and blessing) . You can begin your magic the minute you get home!!!
They will also have a comprehensive hand-out, and resource list for purchasing future supplies. **
The info covered in the workshop will include:
* basic spellwork theory - how and why it works
* importance of candle colors - choosing the right one for you goals
* candle shapes - using the power of visual symbolism to aid your work
* candle types - different sizes and burn times for various ritual purposes
* basic relaxation and visualization to help focus intent to manifest goals
* inscribing the candle - programming the candle to work for your needs
* oils & herbs associated w/ magical goals - boosting thel effectiveness by harnessing natural energies
* dressing a candle w/ oil, herbs - embuing your candle with natural energies that resonate with your goal
* how to dress candles that are encased in glass
* writing a petition paper - a written spell of intent and invocation of the powers to manifest your goal
* introduction to interpreting the way a candle is burning for signs of how the work is going
* disposing of wax/ritual remains when you are done
The class will run from 11am to approximately 5pm.
Tea, water, and fruit will be provided for snacking.
The workshop will be held at Queen of Pentacles Conjure & Village Witchery at Danforth & Main in east Toronto.
Class fee is $65 and includes 2 candles, in-class materials (herbs, oils) , handouts, and certificate of participation.
Advance registration is required due to limited class size. Please contact me for info.
