Samhain Public Ritual

Blessed Samhain Ritual
Event Details: On Thursday, October 25, 2012 SourceFire, the UCM's Pagan Ritual Group will be hosting a public circle in celebration of the next turn of the sacred wheel of time. It turns to Samhain, the time of approaching winter.
Samhain is on October 31st, and it is the time of the Final Harvest. During Samhain, great bonfires are lit, stocks of food were made, in preparation for the coming winter. Many believe that during Samhain, the veil between the world of the living and the past is thinned, and during this time, you can tap into all the energies of the universe, as well as connect with ancestors past. Samhain is the time of passing, remembering, and honouring those who have come before us. So join us on Thursday, October 25th, 2012 at 7:30pm in the UCM Great Hall for a night of Ritual, togetherness, and remembrance.
Please feel free to bring a picture or moment from your ancestors' for our ancestors' alter. Also, Light harvest types foods and drinks are most welcome!
Event Location: 84 South Service Rd. in Mississauga
Event TIME Details: Begins at 7:30pm
Directions: Coming from Brampton: Take Hurontario down past the Queensway, South Service rd. is the first street to the left just as you pass under the over-pass. It is the second parking lot after the Elementary school
Coming from Port Credit direction: Take Hurontario till you come to South Service rd. which will be the last road on the right before you come to the Queensway Overpass.
**NOTE: South Service is the same road as the Ontario Provincial Police Station
