Full Moon Celebration
When: Saturday Closest to Full Moon
Where: Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec
Come, and Honor the Mother's Fullness!
Event Details: The Full Moon Celebration, is, obviously, an Esbat Ritual. It is generally performed in worship, but can be adapted to include spells or prayers upon request.
The Esbat is open to everyone, but please reserve two weeks in advance. A ''Guest List'' of sorts will be formed, and if your name is not on it, you will be charged the aforementioned entrance fee.
**The celebration is held on the saturday closest to the Full Moon; be sure to check the site for the exect date.**
We request that you bring your own chalice simply for hygenic reasons. Ritual wine (or fruit juice, for those who do not consume alcohol) will be ladled into said chalices at the appropriate time.
The Watchman (see website) will meet with new participants in the Wal-Mart parking lot, and give further directions as to how to get to the Ritual area, as the parc does not seem to appear on any online map.
Upon making your reservation, a feast dish will be assigned to you. The nature of the dish is open to discussion, as to keep it within your price range and culinary ability. Please bring along a card indicating the ingredients of your dish, in case of allergy. Also, upon making your reservation, indicate whether you suffer any food allergies.
