NZ Pagan Festival 2010

New Zealand's Largest Pagan Event is Back!
Event Details: On 12th February 2010, hundreds of people will gather together for the fourth New Zealand Pagan Festival. With a line-up of speakers headed by Ramsey Dukes (respected occult philosopher, author and contemporary magickian) , it is anticipated that next year's event will top the last Festival's 300 campers and 1, 500 day visitors.
Organised by Tracey Royce (founder of 'Natures Magick' online community and store) , this weekend-long event is a rare opportunity for pagans and those interested in paganism, to attend a packed schedule of lectures, to join in or witness Open Rituals and of course to feast, shop, socialise and party. Tracey says "The Festival started out as small Sabbat gatherings that took on a life of their own, growing and evolving over the years with various people dedicating their time to be involved in making the magick happen!"
The Festival kicks off with an Opening Ceremony led by Ramsey Dukes and Australia's Frances Billinghurst (High Priestess and Founder of the Temple of the Dark Moon coven) . NZ musicians, belly dancers plus live displays of sword fighting, mediaeval battles and archery will provide the entertainment, whilst the Festival Village Marketplace will be the setting for a wealth of Occult vendors, readers, healers and book-signings.
After the Marketplace has closed and the day visitors have wound their way home, the Weekend Campers will head on into the night with a Grand Feast, evening Ritual and a Pagan Dance Party led by visiting UK DJ, Dru ID.

Tracey Royce runs the Natures Magick online Pagan community and store and is an initiated 3rd Degree Wiccan High Priestess. She is also the Ordained Elder High Priestess of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church NZ (ATC) since February 2004.
Over the years, Tracey has appeared in numerous newspaper articles, conducted radio interviews on Radio New Zealand, Hamilton Community Radio and Tainui FM. She has also taken part in a documentary on paganism shown on TV's 60 Minutes as well as being filmed, along with the NZ Pagan Festival for another documentary for South Pacific Pictures.
