Fire, Dance and Drum Circle
Event Details: When the moon is full many of us are affected by her energy,
Drumming is about personally creating energy and has health benefits for everybody.
A circle has no head, no top or bottom, everybody has an equal place.
A Drum circle is a community where we all put in our piece of drum energy and it is magnified and shared with everybody.
It is nice to listen to but much better to join in, become a part of creating the energy, you don’t need to be a good drummer !!
Fire is another lovely form of energy we can manipulate and play with, our Fire friends love to play with this form of energy.
Dance is another way to bring energy to life and our Dancers certainly enjoy doing that.
This will be a night where anybody interested is welcome to come along, if you don't have a drum you can borrow a drum, you can make a shaker from a plastic bottle and some stones, or tap two sticks together, they all give a beat.
The night will start with a free drum circle workshop run by Pete who can teach anybody to drum, even those who tell him they have no rhythm, because while your heart is still beating you have rhythm.
A drum circle is an informal jam session, so please come join us for a fun night.
I will be there with the drums, musical instruments, kero and pass the hat around for donations towards the fuel the fire performers use and buying us more drums and percussion instruments to play with.
