The Newark and Sherwood Moot
When: Third Sunday of the Month
Where: Newark on Trent, England
Social Moot for all to enjoy!
Event Details: The Newark and Sherwood Moot is a social moot for Pagans in and around the Newark and Sherwood area.
Started by the Nottingham Pagan Network in 2011 but now autonomous, the Pagans of Newark meet up formally for a social get together once a month (every 3rd Sunday) under the Hearth and Home Banner. We're an open and inclusive group with no leaders or hierarchy. The group is run by the members, for the members. You can be involved as much or as little as you like in the organisation, we're all just mainly here for the drinks ;)
Discussions range from pagan theology to what we watched on TV last night, we never take anything to seriously and are always looking to meet new faces! We have a whole range of different people in our group with all sorts of different beliefs; Wiccans, Heathens, Humanists, Atheists, Witches, Voodists, Taoists, people who like Norse Mythology, Egyptian, Greek... The list goes on and on so you're bound to find someone you can talk to! Shy? No problem, we'll get you involved, don't worry!
So, fancy a drink and good laughs? Come join us at the Prince Rupert in Newark - We'll be the group making lots of noise in one of the upstairs rooms...
