Nine month intensive course

Event Details: Spirit Seeker, nine month intensive course in Druidry, now in it's fourth year, has been rewritten with extended workshops and course material and is now open for applications. This course can lead to certification (TSB.DP) as a Druidic Practitioner.

The Course is divided into 5 sections.

Here are the Details

Introduction to Druidry

This Workshops is the Introduction to the Spirit Seeker course that will eventually lead to Certification as a Druidic Practitioner. Here we examine the Basics of Druidry and also touch upon some of the elements of modern Druidry. We also look at some of the elements of Druid cosmology, practices and beliefs.

Subjects covered:

Celtic Society
Druids in History & The Modern World

The Bard
The Ovate
The Druid
The Decline of Druidry
The Druid Revival
Modern Druidry
Practices & Beliefs
Basic Cosmology

You must have attended this workshop in order to progress onto the rest of the course. Please note, this workshop is only open to people over the age of 21

Food and Drink will be available for breaks and lunch.

Opening the Door

(Basic)
Please note, you must have attended the "Introduction to Druidry" Workshop before you can continue on to this part of the Course.

In this three month section of the course we expand on things that we looked at in "Introduction to Druidry" and add further elements to that as well as looking at more techniques and aspects of the Druid path. As well as theory we begin to use excerices such as rattle making and finding a spirit guide.

You must have completed this part tof the course to progress on to the rest of the course. The course can eventually lead to certification (TSB.DP) as a Druidic Practitioner. We will continue to support you in your Druidic work after you have completed the course.

As a member of the course you will also be taught how to make your own tools, and will be given access to the Tribe's materials and tools to make them.

The course is non religious, but a respect for the religions of the people involved is necessary to maintain the balance and peace of the Tribe.

Entering the Forest

(Intermediate)

Please note, you must have attended the "Introduction to Druidry" Workshop and completed "Opening the Door" before you can continue on to this part of the Course.

In this three month section of the course we expand on elements that we looked at in the preivous course parts and also add further elements and techniques to what we have already learned. Here we begin to work more deeply upon our path and upon ourselves. Some of the excerices included in this course section are Ceremonial construction, Healing of the Self and Lower World Journeys.

Lower World Journeying

You must complete this part tof the course to progress on to the rest of the course. The course can eventually lead to certification (TSB.DP) as a Druidic Practitioner. We will continue to support you in your Druidic work after you have completed the course.

Reaching The Grove

(Advanced)

Please note, you must have attended "Introduction to Druidry", "Opening the Door" and "Entering the Forest" before you can continue on to this part of the Course.

In this three month section of the course we expand on elements that we looked at in the preivous course parts and also add further elements and techniques to what we have already learned. Here we begin to work with the deeper mysteries and practices of Druidry and how we can use what we have learned for other people, here we also explore running our own Grove.

Running a Grove
Public Ceremony
Healing for Others
Distance Healing
Advanced Ceremonies
Rites of passage
Vision Journey
The Sweat House
Teaching Others

Successful completion of this section of the course can lead to certification (TSB.DP) as a Druidic Practitioner. We will continue to support you in your Druidic work after you have completed the course.

Certification

If you have completed the course "Spirit Seeker" you will now be awarded with a certificate (TSB.DP) as a Drudic Practitioner.

The day allows us one final get together and a celebration before heading out into the world on our own to continue our work as a Druid.
