Singing the Darkness and the Light
Event Details: Song-learning sessions / rehearsals for the community Winter Solstice Celebration on 22 December.
Come sing with us!
• We meet once a week for song-learning sessions / rehearsals.
• You do not need to read music, although if you do, that can be helpful.
• All genders and voice ranges are welcome.
• Our music is written for sopranos and altos; we can make adjustments for tenors and basses. (Our song leader is willing to work with tenors and basses if you are willing to work with her inexperience with those voice ranges.)
• Free, but there may be a charge to cover room hire for rehearsals. (Right now we are meeting at a member's home.)
Songbook available along with a compact disc that includes recordings of all the songs and teaching tracks for songs with harmony parts. You may borrow a copy of the book during rehearsals, or buy a copy of the book and CD of your own.
