Celebrating Eclectic Pagan Pride - Memorial Day Weekend
Event Details: SHANTA ISTA'S MYSTICAL FAIRE NOW HAS PERMANENT DATE: MEMORIAL DAY WEEKENDS @ NAVAJO COUNTY PARK - OVERGAARD ARIZONA!
The Annual Mystical Faire now been ASSURED by the Heber-Overgaard Chamber of Commerce that vendors, presenters and attendees can now place this event on their calender years in advance. for MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AT NAVAJO COUNTY PARK. The actual dates may vary year to year but we will always have the MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND for the Mystical Faire.
The primary purposes of this Faire is a "Social Gathering" to provide members of the Arizona Pagan Community an opportunity to meet other Pagans to fellowship and network with those of similar Paths; to learn about the variety of other Traditions within our community, and to have an chance to either teach or learn new techniques and practices to enrich one's personal journey.
Feel free to bring food for picnics, musical instruments for spontaneous jam and drumming sessions, etc. Memorial Day can warm or cold..check the weather broadcasts to know how to dress.
Vendor Booth Areas are being permitted to enhance this experience by providing an opportunity for groups to raise funds for their own programs. Shanta Ista, ULC is not promoting this Faire for the purpose of "commercializing" or "exploiting" New Age and Pagan Beliefs.
VENDORS: $25 for entire weekend: Sat 10 am thru Sun 5 pm. No setup after 10 am Sat and no take down until 5 pm Sunday.
If you want to come early, there will be an Open Circle and social time for vendors and early arrivals at Shanta Ista, May 28, 2010. Bring snacks and drinks to share and "Expect the Unexpected" for activities that evening!
A complete list of Classes will be posted at a later date. Currently the classes include "Distilling for Tinctures and the Law"; "The Healing Properties of Gemstone"; "Soul Cards and the Kaos Tarot for Psychotherapy and Counseling"; "Making Honey Mead"; "Healing with Kitchen Herbs and Spices"; and "The Healing Properties of Esential Oils"
Complete list of Entertainment will be posted at a later date; however we know for sure it includes Tarot Readers, Pyschics, Bellydancing, children's events and Wandering Musicians.
Saturday, 7:30 pm - 10 pm events are in the planning stage.
