Event Details: Hello and Merry Meet,
This goes out to all single pagans in the pagan community that are tired of trying to date and end up dating a flake or have anyone run out on you because they found out what you are. If you are anything like me then you would know relationships are not only very hard but also close to impossible. And right now I am not in a position to be a boyfriend but that doesn’t stop me from being bored and lonely all the time. So instead of just sitting around and wishing for a relationship to drop on my lap like some people who are fortunate enough to see that happen; I thought I do something about it.
I don’t need another person in my life to make me feel better, I have the Goddess for that, however I would like someone in my life to share with and define my life as I hope I can do the same respects for her. I would rather be with like minded people that to go around by myself and try to rely on fate. I would like to spend some days with other pagans and friends that if they are in the same boat I am at least we will not have to be alone, even just for a while. Until that time when I do find her, I decided I am going to reopen up two pagan events that all can share in.
These events are what they sound like: events, not groups, although we will need to have meetings to set up dates. These are events so that people who are both single and couples can enjoy. They are “Singles Pagan Events” and “Happy Witches Hour”. There are tons of dating services and site out there but one mention of “Paganism” or “Witch” then might just as well stay home. Hey pagans and witches need some fun sometimes.
Therefore on the last weekends of each month will be these events. One weekend will be for singles to meet up and have some fun dancing or doing some event, and the other for couples. These weekends can switch around to whatever fits an event so the margins are pretty big.
I would like to start off slow such as meeting first and getting information on everyone who would like to attend, and what events they have in mind so I could work on them for future events. I would like to start off as casual dining and karaoke and go from there. This time any guidelines will be set as we go since the last Single Pagan Events wasn’t really working due to different ideas. The first weekend will be a preliminary meeting will not only be for singles but couples as well to set ideas and future events. The weekend after will just be a redundant meeting, then the actual events will start the month after. The events will take place in different parts of the city so that everyone would like to come will have a chance to voice their event ideas. Couple of ideas that have been suggested were water rafting and camping, sky diving, and surfing in the west coast. These events are like Events and Adventures but for Pagans, Witches, Wiccans, Open-minded People, and anyone who would like to go with us that are pagan friendly.
The first one will take place in the west valley on March 23, 2012 at 7 pm at Tilted Kilt Restaurant. The second will be on Mar 30, 2012 at 7pm at Jonny Fox’s Public House Restaurant. Both have a good positive atmosphere with a lot of energy and both are very pagan friendly. We are welcomed to perform magick there. Any vendors are welcome to come by and set up and sell your stuff.
If any vendors come by the house will ask for a 10% of is made for all the times you come by they will be happy to have pagan goods on show. Both restaurants are in the vicinity of 83rd ave and Bell next to the 101 West. If you have any ideas of future events, or places that are pagan friendly that would host these events please let me know and I will talk to the personal for a spot. It would not be that hard since a lot of places in the valley heard of me because of the work I do. If you have any more questions please feel free to call, text, message or e-mail me.
