Hammer Hearth is the foundation for building a stronger and larger Asatru and Heathen community in the Phoenix Metropolitan area of Arizona. Hammer Hearth is about understanding and supporting our European tribal religions. This is a place for people just becoming interested in our ways, folks coming from other traditions with a serious interest in what we stand for, a place for those who been practicing solitary, as well as for those that are members of other kindreds. This is also a place to welcome friends and family that are curious about our ways, and that wish to be accepting of our religious or spiritual views.

Asatru does not have a main church, or any one person that speaks for who we are. Over time our minor differences in opinion, in personal practice or lifestyle can become our true strength. We each have our own understanding and deep connection to our tribal folkways, one that is important and valid for us. As we are a hearth centered people, the way we honor our ancestors, gods and land spirits will vary within each individual, family and kindred, and these differences speak greatly for who we are to become as a bigger community.

Hammer Hearth is where we strive for a lifestyle that is driven by strong ethics and family values, a place we and our children can learn and grow together, a place that we define a basic framework of what Asatru means for us, at the same time setting aside the politics and the varying degrees of practice and belief. Here we understand that we all share a common thread that transcends all of our minor differences. Hammer Hearth recognizes the importance of malicious and chaotic beings within our lore, but our group does not openly welcome or invite these entities into our rituals or gatherings.

Hammer Hearth has a focus on creating a more unified community, finding value in numbers, offering a safe place for our children, and setting goals above those that can reached on an individual level. Hammer Hearth welcomes anyone who considers themselves Heathen or Asatru, a place where you will be recognized on your words and deeds.

Hail The Folk!
