Event Details: Introduction to Wicca Classes (Wicca 101)
Taught by Ariadne (Lisa) Morningstar, HPS
Eight weekday evening series of classes on Thursdays beginning October 11 2012
6:00-8:30pm
Starts Feb and weekly thereafter with Thanksgiving "off"
At Midsummer Fairies in Quartz Hill
Class titles:
Week 1: History of Wicca
Week 2: Grounding, Centering, Protection, and Cleansing
Week 3: Karma and Ethics,
Week 4: Divination /Effective Spellwork.
Week 5: Wheel of the Year;
Week 6: Working with Elements
Week 7: Casting the circle-and ritual practice
Week 8: Final Class and Ritual with student participation
These classes are geared towards those who have been studying alone, either brand new, or practicing for a while, who would like to study with others, and expand knowledge, and ask questions. Ariadne gears the class to her students' level of experience.
Classes must be taken in order, and there is "magical homework."
Required texts are available for purchase at the store. Reserve your copies by signing up for class and requesting them.

Ariadne has been teaching classes on Wicca since 1995, and is the High Priestess of a Traditional Coven in the Antelope Valley, Dragon’s Weyr Circle. She will be teaching with her High Priest, Mikhael as well. Sorry, ages 18 and over only. This is not coven training nor is it a promise of such. Solitaries welcomed!

Ariadne has been teaching classes on Wicca since 1995, and is the High

Ariadne (Lisa Morgenstern) is an Elder Priestess credentialed through
Covenant of the Goddess, the coordinator for AV Pagan Pride Day and the
president of the First Pantheistic Center of the AV, which is a non profit
religious organization. She serves on the AV Interfaith Council, the AV
Human Relations Hate Crimes Task Force, and also volunteers to do Pagan
Prison Ministry. She is a practicing initiated Wiccan for the past 16 years,
pagan for 20+. She also is a Heathen member of an Asatru Kindred, Hrafn
Skjoldr Kindred, and offers various public rituals in the community.
For this course, ages 18 and over only. (with parental permission some
exceptions can be made) This is not coven training nor is it a promise of
such. This class is designed to teach you different ways of working both
alone and in concert with others. Solitaries are welcomed!
