Join us in Napa for the Women's Rites of Spring!

Event Details: Join some of the most legendary activists, spiritual leaders, healers, authors and performers in Northern California at the Women’s Rites of Spring Festival on Sunday, May 2, 2004 in Napa. The day’s events - 10:00am to 6:00pm, with an evening ritual from 8-10 PM, include:

· A Morning Labyrinth Walk lead by Gloria Good and invocations by Deborah Grenn, Leilani Birely and Marial Vargas.
· Yoruba Chief & Storyteller Luisah Teish, longtime activist and priestess of Oshun, brings us ritual and a West African folktale
· Poet & Author Judy Grahn, one of the founders of the lesbian feminist movement with a special reading of her powerful poetry
· Vicki Noble, Healer & Co-creator of the Motherpeace Tarot, leads a healing circle for both individual and global healing
· Hawaiian Priestess Leilani shares the beauty of sacred Hawaiian dance
· Singer & Songwriter Jennifer Berezan performing and leading beautiful songs and chants...healing, uplifting and transformative music
· Afia Walking Tree and Spirit Drumz lead a drumming circle for all those who want to participate
· Evening ritual led by Leilani celebrating women, ourselves & She of 10, 000 Names!

A Marketplace featuring women’s arts and crafts, ritual objects, jewelry, gourds, CDs, candles, herbals and more will be open from 10 AM until 7:30 PM. A small sampling of vendors includes: Shiloh McCloud with her beautiful artwork, Aphrodite Body and Soul with sensual oils and bath salts, Bhaga Beads with handcrafted jewelry, healing herbs from Ile Orunmila Oshun, the magical, sacred gourds of Maura McCarley and Iya Omiseun and others.
