Beginning Wicca/Essentials of Witchcraft
When: Bi-Weekly Wednesdays
Where: Long Beach, California
Introduction to Wicca and Witchcraft
Event Details: An introduction to the practices of modern Wicca in a 10 week course. Classes are now offered bi-weekly rather than weekly. Two weeks of material is covered each session resulting in the same amount of total weeks for the length of the class, but fewer and longer sessions. We offer a series of courses on varying degrees of Wiccan practice and Magical Studies. This class discusses:
Modern Practice of Witchcraft
Holidays- Sabbats/Esbats
Energy-Cleansings, Grounding and Centering, etc
Spell Work-Casting, Different types of magic
Divination-Intro to the Tarot, Pendulums, etc.
Intro to Ritual- Ritual Practice, etc
Concepts of Deity- Duality, the God and Goddess
and more
Students successfully completing the course may be invited become Dedicants and participate in our Intermediate and Advanced classes. These are melded together to enter the path of initiation. Upon successful completion of the classes, Dedicants may meet the requirements for first degree initiation. We celebrate and observe Sabbats and Esbats as a group and are currently offering our outer court training.
Currently classes are comprehensive which each session building on the last thus, students are not likely to be able to enter an existing class if the class has already met twice. All classes are offered at a private residence.
No further students will be accepted for this class at this time. Please contact us for further details on upcoming classes, workshops, etc.
