Witches Meetup
When: 4th Tuesday of every month
Where: San Marcos, California
Meet other local witches, pagans and heathens for social chat
Event Details: The Witches Meetup is a great way to have fun social time with others
of like mind and to introduce newcomers to our community in a
non-intimidating way.
This is a monthly social gathering for dinner at the Bakers Square restaurant
in San Marcos, North County. We've been meeting there for a very long time.
We used to be on the Meetup website, but have unfortunately lost our presence
there to a hostile takeover. But even though we don't have the Meetup site
any more, the physical in-person meetings are back on schedule, now hosted by
SoCal Free Pagans. The restaurant is extremely friendly towards our pagan group
and we get the whole back room for our meetups as our own sacred space.
You don't have to have any particular level of experience or formal Craft
training or coven membership in order to take part in our meetups. These
meetups are social and informal. Just come and join us! There is rarely any
formal topic of discussion and we talk about whatever we feel like at the
moment.
If you are a newcomer to the pagan ways, these meetups are a great opportunity
to get an introduction to our community in an informal social setting before
partaking in something more serious like a ritual.
So come and join other pagans and witches!
Event Location: 1650 Descanso Ave in San Marcos
Event TIME Details: 19:00 (7 PM)
Directions: It's on the corner of Rancho Santa Fe and Descanso.
By car, take the Rancho Santa Fe exit from freeway CA-78; the
restaurant has a sign visible from the freeway.
By public transit, the location is directly served by Breeze bus route 341,
is within easy walking distance of Mission Avenue served by the superb
route 302, and one can even walk there from Palomar College Transit Center.
