Daughters of the Goddess announces...

Witch School 2014

When: every month
Where: Concord, California

Witch School

Event Details: In February 2014, Daughters of the Goddess, a Feminist Spirituality group based in Contra Costa County, will begin another cycle of Witch School for womyn. Witch School is a year and a day study of magic and ritual, steeped in the Aloha-Dianic Tradition of the Daughters of the Goddess Womyn’s Temple.

Womyn are searching for a spirituality that honors themselves, the cycles of their lives, and the world in which they live. A large part of this process is learning about the connection with the Feminine Divine within themselves. Through learning the fundamentals of ritual and magick and establishing a personal spiritual practice – in womyn-only space – they are empowered to become dynamic healers, manifesting the changes needed within themselves and the world.

Witch School is a rare opportunity for womyn to learn techniques and tools to transform and heal their lives. They learn that their bodies are naturally attuned to the rhythms and cycles of nature. Through the study of ritual, magick, and the multi-cultural faces of the Goddess, womyn learn to value themselves, their intuition and the world around them.

The teachers of Daughters of the Goddess Witch School are High Priestess Leilani, and High Guardian Patrice. Leilani, the Temple’s Kahuna and High Priestess and a Lafayette resident, was ordained as a High Priestess in 1998. She is a graduate of the MA program in Feminist Spirituality at New College in San Francisco. Of mixed Polynesian and European heritage, she also dances hula with Nâ Lei Hulu I Ka Wçkiu. Patrice has been a practicing Witch for over 30 years and was initiated as a Priestess of the Temple in 2001, and ordained High Guardian Priestess in 2011.

If you are interested in attending The 2014 Witch School please contact Leilani at Leilani@DaughtersoftheGoddess.com.
