Grove of the Winding Spiral [Witchvox Sponsor] presents...

Introduction to Eclectic Wicca

When: Oct. 28th. 2009 - Jan. 13th. 2010
Where: Chino, California

(this isn't your little sister's wicca!)

Event Details: Hail & Well Met!

Celebrate the turning of the Wheel by making a decision to further your study in the Craft Arts & Sciences!

GWS is pleased to announce that we are opening our doors to Seekers once more!

Intro to Eclectic Wicca (gws1) is complete in its foundational teaching of Wiccan practice and magical studies. In this course, we discuss:

--Philosophy, Principles & Origins of Wicca
--Balance & Duality - The God, The Goddess, & All Those Between
--Wicca & Witchcraft - Same and Different
--The Wheel of the Year - Sabbats & Esbats
--Energy-Cleansing & Taking Care of Sacred Space
--SpellCraft - Ethics and Working One's Will
--Intro to Divinatory Methods - Tarot, Runes & Pendulums
--Working Ritual With A Group - Structure & Etiquette

This class may be taken alone, or as the first of three courses required for First Degree Initiation into Grove of the Winding Spiral. Those who successfully complete the class will be invited to be Dedicated into the Craft.

GWS, founded in 2004, is the second coven headed by Shandril oc Arran, HPS. Shandril has been teaching Wicca and related subjects in the Inland Empire since 1995.

We are a closed coven, offering classes after Samhain and Beltaine each year for Seekers and those interested in working within a magical group of like-minded people. We do not host open Circles or Gathers, and come together as a coven to celebrate the Esbats and the Sabbats. Our success lies in our effort to remain a small close-knit group where folks can come together in perfect love, and perfect trust. We are family-oriented and GLBT friendly.

If you're interested in working with us, please contact our priesthood for more information!

Blessed Be!

Event Location: Contact GWS Priesthood for more info in Chino
Event TIME Details: 7:00-9:00pm Wednesdays

Directions: Meet & Greet! Meet your teachers and priesthood for this class on Wednesday, Oct. 28th (7-9pm) @ Starbucks in Chino Hills. Contact GWS Priesthood for more info.

$10 deposit to hold your seat in the class goes towards your total course fee.

The classroom will be closed for the Winter holiday, so the last two class sessions will be taught when we come back from break. Dedication for those who wish it, and successfully complete the class, is scheduled for 30 Jan 2010.
