Event Details: This Musical Winter Solstice Ritual is a participatory, candlelit ritual that invites us to welcome the darkness, honoring its nurturing aspect and its mystery, and to embrace the natural cycles of dark and light; to "lay down the old, take up the new." Entering into a communal ritual spirit with music, we will form spirals, symbolically plant seeds, share bread and juice, and sing Pachelbel's Canon in D.
