Event Details: Amber & Jet: The Witches’ Jewels. Spend a few minutes or a few hours learning about these two magical stones which are not stones at all! Prudence will cover the lore, mythology, and uses of amber & jet as well as bring many different examples from her private collection to “show and tell.” This event is FREE! Miss Priest is a witch, Elder in Covenant of the Goddess and the Troth. She has been selling amber & jet since the 80’s and travels to the Baltics annually to buy amber & will have lots of amber jewellery for sale and dozens of strands of Siberian and Tibetan jet by the bead or the strand. Light refreshments will be served. Prudence is the "CEO" of Freya's Folk and the American representative of Romuva (the Baltic Folk Tradition) . Amber is solar and healing and sacred to many goddesses including Saule, Freya, and Oshun.
