Wear bright colors and bring flowers for the altar. Please bring food and drink to share for the post-ritual potluck as well as a plate, cup and utensils so we can have zero waste. You may want to bring a blanket or chair to sit on. To support those in recovery, this ritual is “clean and sober”.

This ritual honors Beltane, also known as May Eve, a cross-quarter holiday celebrating the height of Spring. Beltane is a festival of flowers, fertility, sensuality, and delight. It’s the time when the Earth Mother opens up to the fertility god and the faeries are afoot.

Reclaiming LA is affiliated with the Reclaiming Collective in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Los Angeles collective is open to women and men of all ages, ethnicities, gender, sexual orientation, economic background and religious/non-religious affiliation.
