Again and again and again, we dive into personal and collective darkness as the Wheel turns. The darkness itself is nothing to fear. What we banish to the darkness and refuse to acknowledge can become fearsome indeed. Have you placed a part of yourself in the darkness and chained it up, mistreated it, and ignored it until it has become like a feral and raging wolf that threatens to devour everything if it should break its chains? Are you ready to be the light of healing for your own inner wounds? Are you ready to laugh and play and feel new again?
Though the year has grown dark, it's not too late to tend to your light of joy. It's never too late. Again and again and again we refresh and renew ourselves, bathing in the light of inner acceptance, basking in community wholeness, joining our hearts in song and laughter to remind ourselves of what is really important.
Join CAYA Coven for a Winter Solstice celebration of the Zorya, and the ever-renewing light that can heal and enlighten all of us, should we just turn our eyes toward the stars of morning, evening, and midnight. The light within your heart, that spark of life and joy that is your true self, seeks to unite with the darkness that is also your true self. The warmth of community gathering around the Yule log in ritual is also the warmth we can bring to every single day of our lives. Are you ready to sing, dance, and light your own way as the star that illuminates and heals in this time of darkness?
Dress festively if you wish! Adorn yourselves with pentacles and stars, wreaths and garlands, beautiful colors, or natural materials that help you awaken and reconnect with the great turning Earth and the promise of a new day dawning.
Feel free to bring drums, rattles, or shakers, anything you wish to charge on the altar, food or drink to share with the group.
