Begin gathering at 5:00 PM ~ The Ritual will start at 6:30 PM ~
At the Barn ~ 6124 20th St. ~ Rio Linda, CA ~ 3 miles from the intersection of Watt and Elkhorn ~
Imbolac, at 15 degrees of Aquarius, is the Feast of the Waxing Light. This is the time of beginnings, when we celebrate the light of inspiration. Our celebration is characterized by the lighting of many candles so that the Sun will see the welcoming flames and return more quickly.
Please bring a dish for the Potluck Feast after the Ceremony, and bring your own non-alcoholic drinks. We are a "Dry" Circle. No alcohol will be served. Plates and utensils will be provided.
Everyone is welcome, including children. Bring a chair if you can so we don’t run short. Yes, we will be celebrating inside with a heater.
We are asking for a $1.00 voluntary donation per person, to help us defray expenses. There will be a Raffle during dinner to help raise funds for future events. Donations for the Raffle are always gratefully accepted.
Help us make this Imbolac Celebration the best ever!!!
Event Location: 6124 20th Street in Rio Linda
Event TIME Details: Begin Gathering at 5:00 PM, Ritual starts at 6:30
Directions: Take I-80 to the Marysville/Raley Blvd. exit. Go North to E Street. It's a stop sign. Turn right. Go to the next stop sign at 20th and turn left. Counting the corner house, we are the third house on the right. Our mailbox is across the street.
Drive up the driveway on the left side of the house (as you face it) and pull over to the side of the driveway and park. Or park in the driveway on the other side of the house, or along the street.
Walk through the gate at the end of the driveway, making sure to close it tightly behind you. Do not let our puppies, chickens, emus, peacocks or turkey out! (And don’t try to pet the turkey. He bites.)
Walk out back to the barn. Do not come to the front door of the house, as we do not use it.
You can also arrive from Greenback Lane/Elkhorn Blvd. Travel west on Greenback Lane over the freeway and past Watt Ave. where it turns into Elkhorn Blvd. Turn left at 20th Street. Pass several lettered streets. We are just past G St. on the left.
Look for the barn behind the house, and come right in!
